Contact us by phone or email to schedule an appointment. If you have a specific question regarding our services, please use the contact form for the fastest response.
Do you offer crisis service or walk-ins?

We do NOT offer walk-ins or crisis services. If you have an emergency, DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE, CALL 911 INSTEAD. We recommend you visit an Emergency Room for any emergent or crisis situations, as they do not require an appointment and will take walk-ins and provide crisis services. There are NO on-call providers or appointments at our offices after hours.

What are your fees?

Please confirm your insurance coverage with our office staff prior to scheduling an appointment. We do not provide free services. Telehealth appointments are still medical appointments and will be treated as such (including paying balances upon services rendered).

We offer assistance to individuals on a case-by-case basis. Payment plans, sliding fee scale, and assistance with specialty medication discounts are available.

Will the cost of treatment be covered by my insurance plan?

We take a variety of insurances in MA and NH, as well as private pay (Cash, debit, all major credit cards). Your balance is due at your scheduled appointment (if the balance is not paid in full; the appointment will be rescheduled). For more information, please call our office at 508-478-6868

How long will my appointment last?

Initial psychiatric evaluation appointments are one hour long. Most follow-up sessions are thirty minutes, but may be scheduled for longer to best serve the needs of the individual patient.

What will happen during my first appointment?

A review of your psychiatric history, presenting symptoms, current medications and lifestyle will be discussed during the initial psychiatric evaluation. The provider will gather the required documentation to adequately assess, diagnose, and treat the patient.

The patient will be given treatment recommendations and discuss potential side effects, efficacy, and duration of treatment. The provider will develop a treatment plan that best suits the needs of the patient. The patient has the right to refuse treatment or inquire about alternative treatment options. If it is outside the scope of my practice, I will provide referrals to a provider that can better serve your needs.

How often do I have to follow up with my provider?

Most follow ups occur between 1 week to 2 months. Rarely 3 month appointments are scheduled for patients (usually only for established patients that have been stable on medication for a prolonged period of time). The frequency of appointments varies depending on the complexity case of the individual patient. Prescriptions are filled up until next scheduled appointment. Patient to contact the office if a sooner refill is needed.

What is a PMHNP and what can they do for me?

A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a certified advanced practice nurse that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental illness and psychological problems. I do not provide primary therapy services.

In this setting, my primary role would be to recommend, prescribe and manage medications when appropriate and review risks, benefits, and alternatives to medications. When appropriate, I would order and review labs. We primarily provide medication management and occasionally, supportive therapy. Oftentimes, patients would also work with a therapist for therapy sessions. We have a relationship with several area therapists and can provide referrals to established patients.
